University Librarian's
Development Council

Statement of Vision

The University Librarian's Development Council brings together a group of distinguished Yale alumni and friends of Yale who have a demonstrated commitment to the vision and goals of the Yale University Library system. William H. Wright ('82) a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley & Co, Inc. in New York City, is the Chair of the Council, working closely with University Librarian, Alice Prochaska. The Council aims to provide support for the Yale Library through strategic introductions, networking with individuals and foundations and facilitating regional events in order to help the Library realize its full potential as one of the world's leading research institutions. Council members are essentially at the core of the Library's development efforts, serving as its ambassadors in their spheres of influence.
