Join the international celebration of non-professional moviemakers with the world’s first Amateur Movie Day, featuring award-winning gems from the Yale Film Archive as well as works from archives around the world. Hear about the history and importance of amateur films from the director of the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation program at NYU, and see some treats you’ll likely never see anywhere else!

The “Cinemix” series features stand-alone screenings of standout films, presented by the Yale Film Archive and our colleagues from across campus and beyond.
