THE GODFATHER PART II (Francis Ford Coppola, 1974, 202 mins)

Released just 33 months after the first chapter in the Corleone saga, Coppola’s prequel/sequel traces both the early career of Vito Corleone (Robert De Niro) and the struggles of Michael (Al Pacino) to keep the family business–and the family–intact. John Cazale’s career-best performance as Fredo will break your heart. Special thanks to Paramount Pictures Corporation.
