Four circular signs with bold, overlapping text in different colors are displayed on a wooden surface. Each sign contains a single word: "Purpose" (blue), "Nature" (black/gray), "Amount" (green), and "Effect" (red). A small black label on each sign reads "Fair Use."

Fair Use is an exemption in U.S. Copyright law available to users of copyrighted content. Fair Use relies on a four-factor analysis to allow users to reuse content without permission from the rights holders. Please join this information session and workshop on Fair Use. During the program, you will learn about fair use and how to work through a fair use analysis. Bring your questions for a lively, interactive session! One lucky attendee will win a full set of Fair Use coasters created by the American Library Association.

Event speakers will include: Sandra Enimil and Lindsay Barnett.
