Happy holidays! Here are Yale Library’s winter break hours
In a change from previous years, all Yale Library locations will be closed from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. Daily opening hours starting Jan. 2 will vary by location. See all library hours.
Sterling Memorial Library and Bass Library will be closed from 5 p.m. on Dec. 23 through Jan. 1, reopening at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 2. The Manuscripts and Archives reading room will reopen at 9 a.m. and Yale Film Archive at 10 a.m. on Jan. 2.
Beinecke Library will close at 4:30 p.m. on December 23; the exhibition gallery will remain open until 7 p.m. Beinecke will reopen at 9 a.m on Jan. 2.
Haas Family Arts Library, Lewis Walpole Library, Marx Science and Social Science Library, and Divinity Library will be closed from 5 p.m. on Dec. 23 until 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 2.
The Classics Library will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 20 and reopen at 9 a.m. on Jan. 6.
Cushing/Whitney Medical Library will be closed from Dec. 24 until 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 2.
All libraries will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
