Library will close for winter break from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2026

In accordance with the university holiday schedule,  all Yale libraries will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, for winter break.

All libraries will also be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Yale ID holders can still swipe into the 24/7 Young Family Study Space in Kline Tower when Marx Library is closed.

Members of the Yale community can request materials and access licensed e-resources on our website at any time. As always, the Yale Library Digital Collections are free and open to all, and new material is being added every day.
