Yale Library will be closed on June 19 for Juneteenth holiday
In accordance with the university holiday schedule, all Yale libraries will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in celebration of Juneteenth. Yale ID holders can still swipe into the 24/7 Young Family Study Space in Kline Tower when Marx Library is closed.
All libraries will be open as usually scheduled for the rest of the week. Before visiting any of our locations, please check the library hours.
View a film of a Juneteenth celebration in Texas in 1925 from the Beinecke Library collections, and read about related events and resources.
Members of the Yale community can request materials and access licensed e-resources on our website at any time. As always, the Yale Library Digital Collections are free and open to all, and new material is being added every day.
