Yale Library will be closed Nov. 27 and Nov. 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday

November 12, 2025

In accordance with the university holiday schedule,  all Yale libraries will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Yale ID holders can still swipe into the 24/7 Young Family Study Space in Kline Tower when Marx Library is closed.

For libraries that are normally open on weekends, the schedule for Nov. 29-30 remains unchanged. Before visiting any of our locations, please check the library hours.

Members of the Yale community can request materials and access licensed e-resources on our website at any time. As always, the Yale Library Digital Collections are free and open to all, and new material is being added every day.
