This is the closing event for the 2023-2024 Model Research Collection, “From DOS to Qiskit: Turning Entanglement into Quantum Computation,” on view in Bass Library. The Yale Quantum Institute and the Digital Humanities Lab invite attendees to test the art-and-quantum-science application “ThaumCATrop, A Metaphorical Quantum Search in New Haven.” This educational experience will demonstrate how quantum computers speed up computations while it uncovers some of New Haven’s hidden secrets! Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone; there will also be devices available on site.
