New Faculty Orientation

Join us for a continental breakfast and an open-house orientation to meet subject specialist, course-reserves, interlibrary loan, data, geographic information systems, and digital humanities librarians who will share information about Yale’s collections and related services.

Scheduled information sessions in the Sterling Library Lecture Hall include (please plan to attend those that interest you):

9:20 am – 9:40 am: Course reserves and purchase requests
9:40 am – 10:00 am: Teaching with Library Staff – Undergraduate courses, Graduate/Professional courses, Using Special Collections for instruction
10:00 am – 10:20 am: Research Support Services – Data support, GIS, statistical analysis, digital humanities, bioinformatics, and scholarly communication
10:20 am – 10:40 am: Tour of Sterling Library and Bass Library
