To kick off Open Access Week, the Yale Film Archive and the Scholarly Communication and Information Policy unit at Yale Library invites you to view or join us in-person for a screening of the film Paywall: The Business of Scholarship. This documentary focuses on Open Access in academic scholarship and research. The film calls out the billions of dollars that flow into for-profit academic publishers and examines the huge profit margin associated with top academic publishers, like Elsevier. Watch Paywall: The Business of Scholarship on your own or register to join us in the newly renovated Yale Film Archive (SPACE LIMITED).
