Over more than 60 years, Schiff guided countless students and scholars through the library’s archival collections. Funeral services will be held at Grove Street Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15. The Manuscripts and Archives Reading Room will delay opening until 1:30 pm on July 15.

Yale Library staff celebrated the start of spring at a May picnic. Highlighting the event, 82 employees were recognized for their combined total of 1,160 years of service to the library.

Yale College seniors Joelle Besch and Debbie Dada were awarded the 2022 Applebaum Award. The award recognizes these students’ excellent use of government materials from the collection of Yale Library, a designated federal depository library.
